Assistant Principal's Page

Welcome to Wallburg Elementary School!  It is an honor to join the students, families, teachers, and community in Wallburg to create an environment that encourages the success and growth of our school! It is my true belief that by working together, we can accomplish anything.

This is my twelfth year in the Davidson County School System, where I have served as both teacher and assistant principal. Prior to coming to Davidson County I taught for five years in the Iredell-Statesville School System. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in English from Radford University in 2006. I also attended Gardner-Webb University, where I earned a Masters of School Administration degree in 2012.

Over the years I have taught high school English at both Statesville Senior High and North Davidson High Schools. I then went on to serve as Assistant Principal at East Davidson High School and then North Davidson Middle School, before being appointed Assistant Principal Wallburg Elementary School this year. I enjoy the new experiences and challenges that come along with being a elementary administrator and being a part of the Wallburg community.
