Student Services- School Counselor

Hello Wallburg Lions!

 

My name is Rachel Lewis and I will be the school counselor for Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade this school year.  I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from UNC-Wilmington in 2008.  Later I moved to Blacksburg, Virginia, where I attended Radford University and obtained my master's degree in School Counseling in 2013.  I worked in Patrick County, Virginia for three years as a school counselor of two Kindergarten-7th Grade schools.  The past six years I have been the school counselor at Denton Elementary here in Davidson County and I am excited for this new year at Wallburg Elementary!

 

I believe that every child has the potential to succeed in life, and I am excited to help every student find this potential within themselves.
