Lunch 11:55-12:25pm
LUNCH: Our lunch time is 11:55-12:25pm ~Menus are available online on the Wallburg website or the DCS schools website. These are available for breakfast and lunch. You are welcome to come eat lunch with your child however you are required to 1) check in at the office and then 2) meet us in the cafeteria and 3) sit with your child at the designated "Visitor" table. We are not allowed to allow other students to join you. ***As of 9/5/2023 and until further notice, our cafeteria has no air conditioning so we (school-wide, all grades) are eating lunch in our classroom and cannot accommodate for parents coming to eat until further notice. We hope it will be up and working by the end of the month.
Please remember the following:
1) No sodas
2) No outside food from restaurants brought into school-if your child brings food you have purchased from a restaurant in his/her lunchbox, that specific food must be in another container other than the wrap/container from the restaurant.
3) Our cafeteria has "extra" treats/drinks/chips available for purchase even for students who bring a lunchbox. Your child must bring money or have money on their account (you can manage it online!) to purchase an item. If your child brings a lunch box and wants to order "a la carte" off the food line (example: your child wants tater tots to go with the sandwich in his/her lunchbox), they are allowed to do so!
